Creating a Safe Space
Our goal is to provide every child with a fun, safe, and productive experience from our programs. To ensure this, we have created a set of expectations that everyone must follow in the gym. We routinely review the rules with program particpants.
In-Gym Expectations
Participants are NOT permitted on the gymnastics apparatus unless supervised by one of our coaches.
Participants disrupting or disturbing class will be restricted from participation.
Participants must be barefoot or have trampoline socks.
Participants must ask permission of their coach to leave their group for any reason.
Participants should dress in active wear. A gymnastics leotard is optional for most programs.
Participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle. Please do not bring juice, sports beverages, etc. into the gym.
Additionally...
Spectators are not permitted in the gym unless invited by the supervising coach.
Spectators are welcome to quietly watch their child(ren) from the designated viewing areas.
To protect every child/family's privacy, no one is permitted to take photos/videos of children during class.
Parents/guaridans are not required to stay on site during their child's class, provided we have up to date emergency contact information and the child is independent in the washroom.
Outdoor footwear must be removed at the entrance and placed in designated areas. This applies to spectators and participants.
Please do not bring any valuables to the gym. SGE will not be responsible for any lost/stolen items.
The parking lot in front of the gym gym is closed to visitors. There is plenty of parking on the west side of the gym and on Coronation Drive.
We have many children in our programs with severe allergies. Please do not bring any food items that may contain peanuts or tree nuts into the gym.
