As a not-for-profit club, we rely on the support of the community to fund our programs. Your contributions will be targeted exclusively to keep prices down to provide access to the sport for the children of the neighbourhood. In addition to the obvious fitness benefits of gymnastics, the sport of gymnastics delivers valuable life skills such as discipline, determination, respect and dedication to the young athletes of Scarborough. They keep these skills in their personal toolkit as they go on to achieve great things.

Dr. Meghan Harlow is a former gymnast, who started her gymnastics career with Scarborough Gym Elites (formerly Scarborough Olympians). Meghan trained as a provincial athlete with Scarborough Gym Elites for a number of years before moving to Sport Seneca to train at the national level. As a gymnast Meghan often struggled with mental blocks and fear – which made training and competitions a source of significant anxiety. After completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Western University, she pursued a Masters of Sport Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She then completed a PhD in Kinesiology at York University. Megan is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at York University (researching youth sport) and concurrently teaching at Humber College and Brock University. She also does applied sport consulting work with individual athletes and teams.
